What's a comune?

A comune is an Italian municipality — a city, town or village. Comuni are grouped into provinces, which are part of Italy's 20 regions.

The Castellesi Story

It started with two places.

Castel Baronia · Nocera Inferiore

Emma came from Castel Baronia. Armando came from Nocera Inferiore. They carried those places to America — and their family carried them forward.

Castellesi was created to help other families keep that connection to their own places alive.

WHY THE NAME CASTELLESI?

Castellesi is what the people of Castel Baronia are called. Our name honors the small Irpinian comune our family came from — and the belief behind everything we make: Italian identity isn't just about a country. It's about the particular place your family called home.

Castellesi began with our place. Now we help you celebrate yours.

I love my hoodie – the designs are cool, hip and fun, not just the usual stereotypical Italian themes.

My friends aren't even Italian and they still want one for themselves!

Vanessa B., Toronto, Canada

Born and raised – so you know I had to pick one up representing my city.
